 what you'd expect from Playboy
The format of this video is very much what you'd expect from Playboy. A bit cheesy, I think. Sultry female voice-over, model on a dirt road with a broken down car, hitch hiking with some cutoff shorts and pretty much no top. You've seen it done before. Every model has something cheesy like that.
The women are beautiful though and it's definitely a time capsule to look at Pamela Anderson when she was younger, Anna Nicole Smith, and the rest. All beautiful women. Sometimes these images are forgotten because of how they've ended up. I think this is good as a reminder that there is more to these people than we're seeing now.
 Somewhat unusual "cast" but overall a great DVD for fans of celebs in the buff
This is a "Greatest Hits" compilation of clips from videos featuring famous celebrities who posed for Playboy. Duh. The clips are well chosen and very steamy. Best for me were Pam Anderson (pre-plastic surgeon and Tommy Lee - alright!), Jessica Hahn (a true sex goddess), Carmen Electra (who knew the video was actually way better than the song?) and Jenny McCarthy (she never, ever got as sexy on screen as she did here and that's a shame, IMHO).
The downside here is (of course) some of the music. If you've seen a few of these Playboy vids you'll know what I'm talking about. Some of the music can be downright cheesy in attempting to catch the heart of these segments. But hey, that's what the Mute button is for so my complaint is again a small one. Interesting note: some of the scenes here are more surreal than what you'll see in the Hellcats in High Heels video (no doubt because Playboy has a bigger budget.)
Sometimes the weirdness works (Jessica Hahn's quite steamy segment) and sometimes it don't (poor Erika Eleniak's near laughable segment). But you have to give some credit to a video that makes LaToya Jackson look sexy (her segment is way too cute too). So if you only buy or rent one Playboy video in your life (or you've already bought or rented Shagalicious British Babes and are looking for more heat from Hefner's hotties) make it this one.

a good start
bof. i was i little bit disapointed by this. if you already have the tapes of pamela anderson or babes of baywatch this is only a retrospective. nothing new. if you are a brand new customers of the playboy's videos, thant this is a good start (altought already old).
